List of the new words in our dictionary:

  • Hashtag – a # [hash] sign added to a word or phrase that enables Twitter users to search for tweets (postings on the Twitter site) that contain similarly tagged items and view thematic sets
  • Intexticated – distracted because of texting on a cell phone while driving a vehicle
  • Netbook – a small, very portable laptop computer with limited memory
  • Paywall – a way of blocking access to a part of a Web site that is only available to paying subscribers
  • Sexting – the sending of sexually explicit texts and pictures by cell phone
  • Funemployed – happily jobless
  • Cellulitis – the obsession Japanese people have walking around with their nose stuck to the screen of their mobile phone (credit for this one going to Joel)
  • Dish-massage – washing dishes a la Kadi (again, thanks Joel=)

If in doubt, close your eyes and have a little snooze... by Vimrod1.
